Endless

I have had a very busy weekend. Not all of it has been fun.

To start off, Pam had a birthday party to go to at the mall. (insert screams of horror here) The mall on a Saturday afternoon is hell. No joke. The party was at Build A Bear. I almost made a groundhog for myself. It just looked too cute. After the party we had to go get her dad and brother.

Aaron had a basketball game I missed due to the party going over. Aaron’s team lost, by a lot. They still haven't won a game this season. Aaron doesn't seem to care.

Then I went to Rosa Allred's baby shower. That was really fun. I normally hate baby showers, but this one didn't have stupid baby games. I even walked out of it with a nice bag of goodies.

When I arrived home, Jaime decided he was going to take me out to dinner and a movie. This I like. I really wasn't in the mood to cook dinner after all the running around and cake. We went to Red Lobster and Best Buy. I love Best Buy. I bought a few things I really shouldn't have, but oh well.

We ended up seeing The Eye. I wish we would have seen something else. Jaime and I both have a thing for Jessica Alba. That’s why we saw it.

The movie is about Sydney(Alba) a blind violinist. She is given the chance to see again after undergoing a corneal transplant. While Sydney adjusts to her surroundings, she is terrorized by visions of death. With the help of a reluctant doctor, Sydney sets out to discover whose eyes she has received and what the visions are trying to tell her.

The movie was OK. I just wish I would have waited for it to come out on video. The acting was not very good, everyone seemed bored or very tired. Also the story took forever to get moving. This was a remake of the Hong Kong film "Jian Gui". I am planning on watching Jian Gui.

Someone Says

I drove down to the show. It was my first time in Portland and I had a great time. The show was small but still fun. I ran into Brian. I swear we are stalking each other. The only other explanation is we just like the same stuff. I got some stuff signed and even bought a few things.

I'll post a few photos once I get them loaded.

my brain is hanging upside down

I had a blast on Fri. night. Jaime and went to Ruth's Chris Steak House for dinner before the show. Damn, they have the best steak I think I've had ever.

Anyway, the show was crazy fun. We had amazing seats and I would love to go see this again but I doubt that will happen. Right now I am trying to figure out how I'm going to be able to go to the Seattle ComiCard Convention and the Portland Comic Book Show. I know I'm going to the show in Portland. I just need to figure out who is going with me.

SexyBack

Wow. Let me say that again. WOW!!

I had an interesting morning. There I was being a good girl checking my e-mail and I get an IM from someone I had never heard of. He tells me I'm in his contact list but he has no clue who I am. He was wondering if I lived in Atlanta or South Carolina. I tell him no I live in Seattle but I did live in Alabama for a short time. Turns out we both lived in Tuscaloosa, AL. Then out of nowhere he asks me if I'm into bdsm. This caught me a bit by surprise. As it is not all that often I get asked this and not from someone I've never met before. After taking a moment to laugh. I answered honestly. Yeah. I am. We exchanged names and then he asked what I liked best. Again I laughed. It was way to early to be having a conversation like this but what the hell. I had nothing better to do. I told him I liked being the submissive, but if I'm in the right mood I have fun as the Dom as well. He laughed at this because he's the Dom and his wife is the submissive.

We chatted for about half an hour and even exchanged photos. Damn I almost wish I lived in South Carolina so I could get whipped. Sorry but there is no way I could put any of the photos we traded up here. I would get flagged so fast.

Anyway, that was how I started my day today. I was cyberwhipped by a guy across the country who I've never met before. I don't even have to leave my house to be bad.

Long Hot Summer

Yes. Yes. I know it has been a while since I posted. I've been a bit busy though getting my family stuff in order. I've now got 2 kids in school. Only one more to go.

Right now I am trying to get ready to go camping. So this is a very short post to say nothing much at all. Yeah, I got nothing for ya. Sorry. Maybe if you're all nice I might post some pictures next time. So, I'm going to go and get the van packed. I need to go swimming in the river and enjoy the warm glow of campfires. I can't wait to see what I write about tonight. I am hoping to use this trip as research for the comic I am writing.

I am going to have fun and I hope you all have fun this weekend too.

This is just a modern rock song

There was a lot of different things going on at the festival I'm not sure what to talk about.

There was the giraffe woman. She kinda scared me though. She just kept walking around the grounds. She was also making weird noises every once and a while. Let me tell you when you turn around and there she is a few feet away pointing her front hoof thing at you. It can make anyone jump back a little. I wasn't bothered by the outfit or even the stilts. I thought that was cool and took some skill to walk around in them. It was her bizarre facial expressions that bugged me. She had a very creepy smile most of the time and that just freaked me out.

Then there was the Verve Pipe. The whole reason I went to the festival. To say they were great would be an understatement. The show was a high energy explosion as usual even though it was hotter than hell. I got to talk with them after the show. Which was the highlight for me. They are still the best and friendliest group of guys you'll ever meet. Bonus they remembered me. Yea!! My daughter got her picture taken with her favorite singer ever. Brian VanderArk was very sweet with her as was everyone else. You can see more photos from the show at my flicker site.

We walked around a little more and listened to Toad the Wet Sprocket. The day was very energizing for me and I left that night in a great mood. So now I am working on my writing again. And yes I am still working on the comic. It has been a very busy weekend, but I needed it.

Harmony in my head

I had a really great time last night. Whiskey sours, good music and a mechanical bull. What else do you need? I was a naughty girl though. I did drink a little too much. Honestly it wasn't my fault though. There was this really cute girl who kept refilling my glass with her Lynchburg lemonade. And well when a cute girl is trying so hard to get me drunk what else can I do but let her. I did get a nice little wiggle, some fun loving rubbing and a kiss. Oh well, being naughty is just to damn much fun anyway. And so is that bull. I did get her e-mail addy but not her name. Hmm. Oh well.

Not much to report on the comic today. I have been on the road most of the morning and we are supposed to be going up to Lake Stevens this afternoon for a BBQ. Although I am thinking that that plan isn't going to happen because Jaime is napping. Ahhh the advantage of never having a hangover. I love me sometimes.

Time stands still

I am booking right along with my comic. This is a lot of fun now that I have a clear vision of what I want to have happen to my two characters. I even have someone who really wants to do the art for me. Only problem is he is in Salt Lake, UT and I'm in Seattle, WA. Not a major problem with Internet and all.

I am a busy girl though. I am getting ready to go out with my husband tonight. We are heading down to Tacoma tonight to hang with some friends. It should be fun. We are getting a night away from the kids. Just need to figure out how to get my work done while we are out without pissing off the husband. Hmmm. I just don't see that happening.
